Hyundai and Pokémon Korea have collaborated to offer two completely new display themes especially for certain vehicles in their market. Owners can now customize the look and feel of their digital dashboard and infotainment screen to immerse themselves in the Pokémon universe.
Customers can choose between “Pokémon Pikachu Quick Attack” and “Pokémon Ditto World Theme”. Both themes cost ₩29,900 (about $21) and may be accessed through the Hyundai BlueLink shop or MyHyundai app after registering the primary vehicle. The theme can be turned on and off with a quick toggle in your car’s settings.

The Pikachu theme centers on Pikachu, with brilliant yellow tones all across the screen, animations reminiscent of fireworks while changing screens, and even small films to greet you as you start the car and goodbye clips as you turn off the engine. The gauges, menus, navigation pages, and even your profile icons are all given the same amusing treatment.

The Ditto theme takes a different approach. It has a softer palette and features Ditto as the primary attraction, flanked by a variety of other Pokémon including Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Snorlax, Meowth, and Spheal. Navigation and startup/shutdown moments all receive an identical graphic treatment, making the overall experience feel quite consistent.
Both themes essentially rework the entire infotainment interface, including the Navigation Cockpit technology that Hyundai created in-house. Custom colors, character images, and customized navigation visualizations transform the entire experience, making it look very different from how your automobile generally appears. Hyundai says they’re doing this to provide more owners the opportunity to make their time on the road feel more personal. Currently, the themes only operate on a few models available in Korea that have the connected car Navigation Cockpit system, including the new Palisade, Nexo, Ioniq 6, Ioniq 9, the Staria, and the 2026 Sonata, but Hyundai says additional cars will be added later via over-the-air upgrades.

A company representative explained the reasoning plainly. “This collaboration with Pokémon Korea reflects the growing needs of our customers who want to decorate and express their own personal style within their vehicles,” the official said. “In step with the connected car era, we will continue to enhance the value of the experiences our customers can enjoy right from their cars.”
